Mike Duarte

I'm pleased to recommend my friend and former parishioner Mike Duarte. I have known him and his family for almost thirty years. He was a faithful and helpful member of Christ Community Church in Laguna Hills, California. As his senior pastor for almost twenty years I observed his many gifts and talents at work. He used them to serve Christ and His church by helping build the church's first website, serving in children's ministries, giving leadership to the men's ministry and helping organize men's retreats. Mike faithfully attended a weekly men's Bible study I led for many years. He gained a good knowledge of the Scriptures. He seeks to find ways to serve others in practical ways even though he is in a physical rehabilitation program.

Mike and Jill are dedicated to living out their faith in practical ways. They have been excellent parents who are still involved in their children's and grandchildren's lives. He previously volunteered to be an advisor for my ministry in the Philippines called "Advanced Biblical Studies for Pastors". He has a proven background in building websites.

I believe if Mike could find a good fit to work off-site he could serve faithfully with diligence. He's had 25 years of experience with Fortune 200 and 400 companies as a digital consultant both in corporate and retail. He's also applied these skills to marketing. He's a man of character who is above reproach. He has a desire to make his life count for that which is most worthwhile and enduring.
