Texas Hold ’em Rules

Simple rules. Endless trash talk.

Texas Hold ’em is played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player is dealt two private cards (“hole cards”), and five community cards are dealt face-up in the center of the table.

Players use any combination of their two hole cards and the five community cards to make the best possible five-card poker hand.

Small blind and big blind are posted before cards are dealt
Four betting rounds: pre-flop, flop, turn, and river
You may check, bet, call, raise, or fold when it’s your turn
Best hand wins the pot at showdown

If everyone but one player folds, the remaining player wins immediately — even with seven-high.
